Commercial

It’s our job to captivate the customer with must-have products – and turn that captivation into ever-increasing sales. It’s a job that’s particularly fascinating – and challenging – right now, as we play a pivotal role in driving forward the Group’s goal of bringing fashion to the great outdoors.

We work with brands from North Face and Animal to Berghaus and Oakley, selecting exactly the right products for our customers. We also have a team of dedicated designers and buyers who develop our own brands, ensuring the highest quality at all times. Finally, we manage the pricing, promotions, stock levels and display of merchandise across over 450 stores.

Our Buying and Merchandising Team

With a newly restructured Buying and Merchandising team arranged across product lines, and one of the best bonuses on the high-street, our Commercial Department is an exciting place to be right now. (Our bonuses aren’t target related – they’re guaranteed every quarter to the best performing B&M teams. They’re also very, very generous.)

There’s a wide range of levels within our Buying and Merchandising teams – so whether you already work in the sector and you’re looking for accelerated progression – or you’re just trying to find your feet in the world of B&M, we could have an opportunity for you.

Who we’re looking for

In order to join us, you’ll need to be a team player, who’s not afraid to muck in and get involved in activities outside your direct role remit. You’ll also need to be very determined and able to deliver remarkable results – time and again. Above all, you’ll be an innovator who relishes the challenge of connecting the right product with the right consumer in a company that’s evolving fast.
